A sound command of the French language is compulsory for students wishing to enrol on a university course.
All applications, therefore, must include proof of the level attained in the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF - French Proficiency Test).

Applicants must have attained B2 level

(in all areas examined and with a score of 8/20 in the written tests)

With the exception of European countries where French is the official language (Belgium and Luxembourg), the level of proficiency in French must be certified by the TCF or the DALF.

UNÎMES organises an annual TCF DAP language proficiency exam session. This will take place on 22 February 2017.
